Yamanashi系列領帶採用山梨縣絲綢面料，富士山周邊地區得天獨厚的條件有利絲綢採集，當地工匠使用世代相傳的傳統技藝製作絲綢面料。為了給單色織物賦予如奢華感和色彩深度的各種效果，把兩股細如髮絲的絲染成不同的顏色，然後將它們捻成一根線。


山梨絲綢面料使用的混色紗比普通混色紗細約1/3，可染成6種不同的顏色，並加撚在一起，來創造更深層次的色彩，通過不同色調的染色賦予織物其他地方都難以獲得的迷人色彩。該系列也是鎌倉襯衫引以為傲的一條龍完全日本製造的領帶。
